mipsel throws the following compiler error while compiling openssh 8.9p1.

Interestingly, we don't see this error in our autobuilders, but we see a fairly similar error on m68k, building openssh: http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/f94/f94939ff953559fb23daf2edc357ebb070c60900/build-end.log

The issue was resolved for me when updating to 9.0
