Hi everyone,

I am using Hawkboard as my development board
and arm-none-linux-gnueabi-  as my Toolchain

I was successful on compiling buildroot with TinyX but as I am having a usb keyboard and usb mouse they are not detected after making the X-server ON.
but I am qiute sure that it detects keyboard which runs in backend. (ALT+CTRl+DEL)
reboots my board. So I switch for Xorg.

I believe the problem was a missing pkg-config dependency in the X server, which I've just fixed. Care to try latest git?

I tried this same options on 2012.08 and this bug is still there.

Note: The same error will happen if i change to any other video driver ( I checked dummy and vesa, both had the same errors)

Here, xdriver_xf86-video-fbdev-0.4.2 builds just fine. It selects the xorg-xserver package, so it should be built as a dependency correctly.

Can you please post your Buildroot .config file as you suggested, and confirm that you can reproduce this problem from a completely clean Buildroot build (i.e after running "make clean; make") ?

I've tested once again building X.org with the fbdev driver with current master, and it builds perfectly fine.

Since the bug reporter has never attached any Buildroot .config that exhibits the problem, and we're unable to reproduce, I'm marking this one as working for me. If someone faces the issue, do not hesitate to reopen this bug, but please include more details.
