Many optional support options are automatic in buildroot, like SSL (via OpenSSL) for example. We want to avoid the "option overload" scenario so i'd say "WONTFIX". Peter and/or other devels are free to reopen but this has been standard issue for quite some time now. I agree, I prefer to keep things as simple as possible as well. |
Created attachment 3103 [details] patch While dnsmasq add dbus support if this one is selected, this isn't specified anywhere. I've added an option in the config menu that simply select dbus.
