Created attachment 2125 [details]
Remove relevant makefile parts.

libXfont tries to build its developer docs (although disabled) and fails. This seems to be an upstream problem, as it also happens if I do a native build of the library.

Here, libXfont for the host and for the target builds just fine in a limited chroot with no special tools installed.

What kind of build failure are you seeing ?

Seems that I cannot reproduce this on Ubuntu. I destroyed the Gentoo where I initially experienced this bug. You might as well close this bug for now.

Ok, then let's mark the bug as "works for me", and if anyone manage to reproduce it somehow, we'll reopen it. I have built xlib_libXfont yesterday in a clean chroot environment that I use to make sure the Buildroot build doesn't depend on any particular host tool, and the build went just fine.
